I downloaded Jira Software which installed Jira on my computer and uses a browser to open the dashboard. But I forgot to list the username down, I have forgotten it because it used to auto login back then. But then something happened in which it stopped now I cant login to my dashboard in Jira, because i forgot the username. I tried using the forgot username function on the login which uses my email but it doesn't send anything I've waited a day for it but nothing please help. I tried reinstalling so that I can go to the first time setup again to create a new user but it doesn't show up for the second time.
Have a run through https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/restore-passwords-to-recover-admin-user-rights-972329273.html (it tells you how to work out user names from older versions of Jira, and for the newer ones, you'll get in as an admin, so you can go to Admin -> users, get a list and reset their passwords)
When i go to the link it says page not found 404, it might be a down link.

Sorry, community has padded that url incorrectly. If you open it up again, and trim the stuff after .html, it should work (I'll edit the answer in a sec)
