Hello Team,

Thanks in Advance.

JQL : fixVersion in releasedVersions() and fixVersion in versionMatch("gradle-plugins.*") ORDER BY fixVersion DESC
JQL query is not ordering the task by DESC order

Hi @Pavan ,

Every version in Jira has a code. When I look at the operation of ORDER BY in our Jira, this code is used to determine the order and not (unfortunately) the name of the version.

If you click on Releases in a Project and then click on a Version, you will see the code in the URL.

Regards, Marco

the code of *gradle-plugins 2.7.6* is 17210 and *gradle-plugins 2.6.7* is 16805

it should display 2.7.6 apparently in the first but it is displaying randomly even though we are order by fixVersion DESC
