Jira for Therapeutic Products/ Biotech Products

Hi, 

Does anyone know if we can use Jira for project management of therapeutic products (project and data management of products that go through pre and post-clinical trials)? 

There is a huge need within the biotech space for a project management app for therapeutic products, but I can't seem to find an app that fits the criteria/ are as great as Jira is for tech products. 

Is there anyone I can contact within Jira Software for this? ( I am willing to provide clinical trial process expertise if needed).
