Hi @Wyman Yan

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

On Jira Cloud, only users with the Product admin role (for that product) can see Settings → Apps → Manage apps. If you don’t have that role, the menu entry may not show.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/user-is-unable-to-see-manage-app-explore-app-section/

Assignment issues:

Commenting issues:

  • To add comments, you need the “Add Comments” permission in the project’s permission scheme.

Hello @Gor Greyan

Where can I find the project’s permission scheme?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/user-can-t-be-assigned-jira-service-management-cloud-issues-1141972083.html

In above link, it mentions the "Your app", where I can install this?

Thank you

Hi @Wyman Yan

You can find the page, via the following steps:

Proejct Settings --> Permission

There, you can find Assignable User, Assign Issue,s and Add Comment permissions.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi @Wyman Yan

Did you check the "Assign issue" permission in the Permissions section?

Are you involved in any of the roles, groups associated with that permission?

Hello @Gor Greyan

I'm the same roles as my teammate. They can assign issue and add comment.

But I still cannot.

Could you please help to support this.

Thank you so much

Hi @Wyman Yan

Could you also please share a screen from the permission section?
There should be visible the "Assign Issue" permission and the roles/groups assigned to it.

Also, please inform,  what type of project it is?

Dear @Wyman Yan

Could you also check the Service Desk Agent permission, as I can see it is a JSM project.

Dear @Wyman Yan

Let's check it through the ticket, which you can't assign.

Open the ticket, and you should see the "Admin" dropdown. After opening it, click on "Permission Helper".

Write your username and select Assign Issue permission.

Please provide a screenshot of the result.

Hello @Gor Greyan ,

I open one ticket , but I cannot find "Admin".

Any other idea for this issue? It's quite urgent, I need to use this JIRA project for daily work.

Thank you so much

Admin section appears like this.

One thing to check is the status properties.

In the workflow, click on the status in which the ticket is, and you can not edit it, and check the properties.
