I have Jira set up so that I can send an email to an email address, and it will automatically create a Jira issue. However, it doesn't reply to the sender when it is created or when there is an update. Is there something I can do to make it do that?
Is the reporter a licensed Jira user? If so do you have the user in a role or group that is configured to receive Create notifications under the notification scheme?
The reported is a non Jira user emailing in the issue to a default email handling Jira user.
