Jira configuration UI

Jira config is very difficult, primarily because of the UI and workflow. I get why that is, flexibility==abstraction, but wow-- the UI is really obscure. I think primarily what is needed is more of a 'wizard' style approach, where you start with what you want to do, and the UI walks you through it. Are there any plans for a UI ease-of-use upgrade in the near future?

Generally, no.  Attempts at config wizards mostly failed, with users reporting either "it's not asking me enough and I have to go do almost everything manually later" or "it's too complex and it's quicker to do it by hand".

The ones that did work out ok were the project creation templates.
