Jira cloud - attached msg files displaying as text files, lose formatting

Hello, when I attach an Outlook email file (msg) to an issue and then click the msg file to view it, it looks like a text file.

Is there a way to have msg files open with the original formatting?

Hi there!

We actually faced this same issue and we have a solution for it. It automatically detects .msg and .eml attachments in Jira and renders them properly as full email content directly in the preview, rather than showing a broken/unsupported file view.
