Jira automation Error Handling: How to retrieve Jira Automation error message

When the Jira Automation is running and got any error, I want to get the error message.

I know that there is already an option to send an email to the administrator when the automation is failing.
However, I want to also notify the user when the automation is failing, i.e. by adding a comment to their Jira ticket.

That is not possible yet.  There are several suggestions around this topic, which you may vote for / watch to see progress.

You could also create an additional suggestion specifically for your idea.  I recommend clarifying which user(s) you want to notify for this scenario, as rules could have zero-to-many users impacted by rules accessing zero-to-many Jira issues.
