Hello all!

I am pretty new to Jira administration and am running into an issue I cannot seem to solve. Recently I invited people to be portal only customers. Some of the people I invited have their email address as their user name, which is great! Most of them, however, have a username that was generated by Jira (This is an email account I have full access to):

Dave Fake 1.pngWhen I click edit at the top, it only gives me the option to edit their full name, with no other options

Dave Fake 2.pngEditing the full name does not resolve the issue.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this happens or how to fix this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! :D

Thanks!

This is a recent change and have been announced on Portal-only customers have a randomly-generated username:

As part of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) changes, we’ve been updating how we store customer information in Jira Service Desk. To protect customer privacy, these changes include replacing personally-identifiable usernames with randomly generated hashes in the format qm:<alphanumeric-hash>.
