We are migrating from a Linux environment to an Azure windows environment and with that we have SentinelOne running.  We have noticed a serious degradation in performance when SentinelOne is running.  Has anyone been successful in getting atlassian applications running with SentinelOne without having it impact performance?

We have moved back to our previous endpoint protection solution until we can get this resolved.  S1 was negatively impacting not only our Atlassian applications, but several other applications as well.  In fact we suddenly began running into memory and storage issues that we never had previously due to some sort of corruption issue with S1's agent database.  This is documented in their release notes and partially fixed in a non-GA agent.

Honestly I would never have expected this with all the hype for S1.  I advise anyone implementing S1 to pay very close attention to their release notes and forums (which are paywalled of course).  And, of course, vote with your wallet.  There are other endpoint security solutions out there and sometimes you do get what you might have to pay more for.

Best of luck,

P.
