I am trying to embed the Jira widget into a webpage.
I have followed all the steps on this page: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/embed-a-widget-onto-a-web-page/
On page load I get a 403 (Forbidden) error and the widget does not load. My Portal access is set to public and I can submit tickets anonymously from the standard portal.
I believe its some issue with my Jira specifically because I tested a data-key from another site and it embeds fine on my test page.
I have double checked my customer access is public and can not find the issue. Any help would be appreciated.
I used the widget to embed a virtual agent on a client and there are a few important things to check to ensure it's working.
The portal isn't actually "open" as the widget requires.
The domain isn't in the allowlist.
The widget's default request type has unsupported required fields.
Check the embed snippet.
You mentioned that you tested with another site's key and it worked; this confirms that the problem is in your JSM project configuration.
Thank you for the suggestions. I have checked all of these except the allowlist. I could not find that option anywhere.
