Jira Team member roles

Is there a way to tag or attribute a member's role within a Jira Team? I want to say team member A is the project manager, member B is the executive sponsor, members C is the business analyst, etc. Sometimes this is obvious by the users role in the organization, but not always. We'd like to explicitly call it out in each Jira Team.

That type of information is in your team member's individual profiles. So, to a certain extent: yes, that type of information is available. But it does not live on the team level and cannot be administered from within the team pages.
