Hello All,
I m using "Structure" plugin in Jira cloud.
How to restrict employees not to share the structure created by them outside the project members. They should not be allowed to share the structure with everyone. But they can share it within the project members.
Otherwise people will create their own structure and share it with everyone. This will create unnecessary long list of structure for others.
If structure has to be shared across the projects then either admin or a specific group members should be allowed to do so.
Please help on how to achieve this requirement.
Thanks,
Hello @Santhosh R Bhat
There is no such permission in Structure. All users with access to Structure Cloud can create structures and a structure's owner can share it with anybody they want. Owners themselves can configure the structure's permissions in a way that makes the structure visible only to members of project roles in a certain project, but there is no forcing this configuration.
Jira admins also can edit such permissions and override the permissions set by an owner if needed.
I hope this helps. If you have more questions, please reach out to us directly at our portal: https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/6/group/1051
