Hello,

We are in the process of migrating from Jira Server to Jira Cloud. So far we have Jira Software set up just like our server side, however, we are using both Jira Software and Service Desk. I am confused because I thought we had only set up the Jira Software Cloud and not the Jira Service Management Cloud, but when I go into Manage Apps-->Application Components and change the filter, I see Jira Service Management. Does this mean that JSM is being used in out Jira Software Cloud??  Or is does this mean that we still need to implement a separate Jira Service Management Cloud Product and the Application Component will link the two?

Thanks,

Nate

Hi @Nathaniel Ballesteros ,

JIRA Service Management and JIRA Software are two different module on both Server and Cloud. The istance, also in the cloud, is the same but if you enable JIRA Service Management you can use service desk projects.

Hope this helps,

Fabio
