Hi,

I am trying to create a MultiProject Rule that transitions an issue to "In Progress" All our Jira Software NextGen projects have the state "In Progress" so in the "Transition Issue - Destination Status" I see "In Progress" repeated many times.

How could I identify the one that belongs to the project I am interested in? If I select just one of them at random the rule fails saying that the transition to that state is not defined in the Project.

As an alternative, is there a way to know the internal code or Id that correspond with a status value e.g. "In Progress", so I can use that in the filter?

Thanks for your help,
Rafael

Hi @Rafael Guerrero

This is a Next Gen "feature" that those status values are different by project.  I believe there are several suggestions and defects around improving this area.  Any way...

How many projects do you have?  If it is not too many, consider cloning your rules for each project, and then edit them to select the specific status.  I believe it will narrow the list to only show the status values available within that project's scope.

Best regards,

Bill
