Jira Server wrong behaviour: Mails only once per day

Hi Community,

we have an interesting problem detected on our Jira Server Instance: All Outgoing Mails from Jira Server are send at 3 PM regardless of the date of the action.

So for example a user received three Mails
- a comment on an issue Mail (comment created at 6:12 PM the former day)
- an issue create Mail (created at 11:19 AM this day)
- another commen on an issue Mail (created on 9:50 AM this day)

=> All this mails were delivered on 3 PM, the user received three mails.

Mail Batching is enabled. I don't know any feature/setting allowing this behaviour. What can cause this problem?

@Hannes Is there something on the email account that you are using that is queueing the emails and not letting them send until 3pm each day?
