Jira Server Changing Email Notification Links

Hi everyone,

I am running a Jira Server 8.8.1 and need to change the email notification links. Currently our Base URL is like jira.contoso.com. However, users access the instance through a proxy like jira.proxy.com. When we get email notifications it comes with the Base URL which can not be reached.

I want to be able to change the links so they go to jira.proxy.com instead.

I have read a few articles and we are using batching for our email notifications, but I can't seem to find how to change these URL's. We do not have an templates/email-batch directory so I believe that Jira 8.8 uses the Batcher app detailed here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/customizing-email-content-in-jira-server-1027142312.html

However, there doesn't seem to be any reference in the jar templates to a Base URL except for a header and footer, which don't actually post the content. 

If anyone has experience in this or an idea where I could look to change these templates I would appreciate any help.
