I am trying to configure the Jira salesforce cloud connector.
I reached this point of the workflow:
https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CSFJIRA/pages/1873346949/Set+up+a+connection+to+Jira
A collegue generated an API token in her Jira admin console then, when I try to add it to the Jira connection (salesforce side) we get the error "Invalid token".
Who is in charge for supporting this connector? Is an Atlassian product isnt it?
Thanks in advance
Nicola
As you can see in the documentation, the token needed comes from the app itself.
In the configuration section, you have to:
1. Authorize the connection to Salesforce
2. Once authorized, click on the 3 dots on the right of the connection -> API token -> this is the token you need to paste in the SF package. and its the first one, the Salesforce access token, not the REST API!!
3. Install the Salesforce package of the app
4. Paste the API token into the managed package configuration
Regards
If a colleague generated that token is that user granted enough permissions in Salesforce and it might be as your re logged in that the token tries to verify the account.
How is the token made and does this user have access to Salesforce?
It seems al related to permissions, as this mostly the time in relation to such an error.
