Hi ,

I have hosted jira 7.3.0 on cent os linux server and configured it to use external db. now due to some reason i had to restart the server on which jira was installed and when server restarted all my configuration were not there. iwas redirected to the very first page in which i have to set my db.  same was the case with confluence both were installed on same server.

what can be done to avoid it ???

Thanks

Something has removed or changed the ownership of files in the application's home directory.  To avoid this, you need to stop doing that.

Start with a check on the permissions.  Are all the files in Jira and Confluence home owned by the user running each of the applications?
