The Jira Requirement issue type is missing from our instance. This must of been done from an admin correct? I can't imagine Atlassian removing an issue type like that. Anyway as I go to recreate this, I'm noticing that the green requirement icon that we like is also deleted from the system. Where can I find this avatar so that I can restore this like it was before it was deleted?

Hi @Nate Dickinson - There is no Requirement issue type in the list of issue types that come standard in a new instance.  Standard issue types include:

  • Epic
  • Story
  • Task
  • Bug
  • Sub-Task

So Requirement was a custom issue type and if it is gone, then yes it would've been the Jira Admin.  If you don't see the icon from the available list that means it was also likely custom and would need to be reloaded in from wherever it was originally sourced.

HI @Nate Dickinson

@Mark Segall has given the exact same answer as I would have given.

If the issue type was in the system and now it's gone. Only a user with Jira admin permissions could have removed the issue type
