Jira Ranking Field

Hey Community,

I will like the rank field in Jira to show up on the issues screen so we can see the rank on the issue itself and not rely on the board. I have associated the field to all screen schemes but still, it does not show up. I am trying to avoid creating a second rank field and will like to use out-of-box functionality in a way that is standard across software and business project.

Any suggestions?

You can show the ranking field on a screen, by adding it to the screen, but it won't be of much use to you.  The data in it is intended for comparison with the values on other issues and isn't human friendly.

This begs the question of why you want to see the rank?  What would it help your people with?

It has to be associated with the issues and it can't be empty to show
