Jira Problem

Hi everyone. I’m having difficulties in Jira server v8.7.1. The problem is that I cannot perform background re-index after a minor upgrade. When I choose background re-index, it threw an error saying “404 you’ve found a dead link.”

P.s. I have full authorization on Jira’s directories.

Hi,

in many cases the log files show details on how the error message comes up. A stacktrace is even visible in the browser.

I'd recommend to check the application log files. It could be an App (if enrolled) that disturbs indexing but there could also be some other causes for the 404 error to show up.
