I set up a "Plan" to run a cross functional project. I created an Initiative and linked all my epics to it. Then I created a filter using "Parent Link" in (My Initiative, My Epic 1, My Epic 2). I had my plan use this filter as a date source and it worked.
My only question remaining, is when I look at my Plan, the very first line says "2 issues without parent". This does not make sense to me and the two issues are epics and I have linked these two epics to my Initiative. Is there any way to fix this. Thank you!
Can you show us a screen image of what you see?
Can you show us a screen image of the Initiative details showing that the Epic(s) are Child Issue of it?
I used Parent In and Epic in and it was fixed. Thank you!

I'm facing a similar issue were when I'm using the hierarchy in Advance road map as Capability to Epic.
The very first line states that "x issues without parent", and the list of epics that I have used for my board.
Surprisingly each of the epics that are displayed has capability linked to it as parent. I'm stuck anyone pls help @Cyril James

Did you get an answer on this? All of my epics have a Parent Link specified but that Parent doesn't show on my roadmap.
