Jira Operations Alert Notes Rendering HTML in App but not on Web version

When adding notes that are HTML formatted to an Alert in Jira Operations it seems that the HTML gets rendered when checking the note in the Jira iOS App but it doesn't get rendered when you check the same alert notes on the web version.

Is this expected? Will there be any support for HTML rendering of the alert notes in the web version?

you should probably trust the web behavior here.

I am not aware of HTML in alert notes being something Jira Operations officially supports. The old Opsgenie side did mention HTML notes, but on the Jira Operations side notes are just treated as notes. So if the iOS app renders the HTML and web does not, I would treat that as inconsistent behavior, not something you can safely build around.

If formatted notes are important for you, I would raise that with Atlassian as a bug or product gap.
