In my Next Gen project board's column, only 27 bug reports are displayed.

But when I go to the "Issues" section - there's 64.

There were no filters, assignees, labels, etc., selected. It is exactly the same project.
So when I'm trying to see the bug tasks via the board, I see only 27 tasks.
And via the Issues section, I can see there're 64.

Can anybody tell me why it's happening?

That's how the Board's column looks like

And that's the filter from the Issues section

Is this a Kanban board or a Scrum board?

Do you have the Backlog feature enabled, if it is a Kanban board?

If it is a Kanban board with the Backlog feature enabled, then only the issues moved from the Backlog list to the Board list will show on the board.

If it is a Scrum board, then only the issues assigned to an Active Sprint will display on the board.

Ok, the details you've given here are a bit sparse, so I can't rule out or talk about several things it might be.

Best I can do is to tell you to look at the basic information on an issue that is in the 64 but not the 27, and compare it with the filters.

If it does not jump out from that quick look, then what I'd like to see next is the full board definition (the filter for it and the column definition where status are mapped into columns), what type of board it is (scrum, kanban, or simple business/core/work-management project board),

I see this is a TMP so a bit different debugging required.

are there any filters applied on the board? User selected? Epic selected? Can you create a JQL like this - project = xxx and status = “new (current ver.)”.
