Jira Login Issues

I am having issues logging into Jira. I can login to our main company's account but there is no information within the Jira page. When I click a link for a Jira project that has been created I am unable to login and receive this message: You must log in to access this page. If you think this message is wrong, please contact your JIRA administrators.

Hi John,

Make sure your user has the JIRA Users Global permission. The group users is included on the JIRA Users global permission by default, you probably gonna need to ask a user who has access to the instance and belongs to the administrators group to verify this (since you can't log in).

If you're using JIRA OnDemand this could be caused by lack of Application Access to JIRA as well, please check if you user has it. This should be the direct link to that page https://example.atlassian.net/secure/admin/user/ApplicationAccessConfig!default.jspa
