Jira Issues to trigger custom scripts

I am looking to run custom scripts [API calls (post and rest)], I have tried "Scriptrunner", as well as workflow triggers and other products but none of them have worked for me. does anyone have any insight on this?

"None of them have worked for me" - I am afraid this is of no help.  If you can't get Scriptrunner scripts to work, you'll have the same problems with other scripting functions, and quite likely anything else you might try.

I would strongly recommend looking again at "has not worked for me" and making it work.  We can try to help you here, but you'll need to explain what you are doing.
