Jira Insight assets and importing data using connectors

Hi, in Assets, say we have a number of manually created Windows assets, is it possible to use the SCCM Connector to supplement the pre-existing assets with specific data from the corresponding entities in SCCM (for example import the OS Build version for each system and populate the relevant field in the assets in Jira)?

We're quite new to this and want to understand how we best query multiple data sources to end up with a single source of truth in Insight without duplicates etc.
