Can someone clarify the limitation statement in the Free plan description:
Updating site URLs (site renaming)If all of your Jira Cloud products are on the Free plan, you can't update your site's URL after your site is created. Paid plans are able to request an updated URL from Atlassian Support.
I believe this means that once created in the free environment then if we moved to a paid plan we would need a new site URL from Atlassian support?
If you upgrade your free plan to a paid plan, you can request a site URL change through Atlassian Support, without needing to create a new site.
Thanks Tuncay,
So if we upgrade then we can keep the original URL?

Hi Ian,
If you are using Free plan for Cloud products , you cannot update the site URL after creation. However, if you move to paid plans (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise) you can request an updated URL(rename) from Atlassian Support.

Anshul
