Jira Epic creation Issue

The epic creation is successful by cloning the template(epic template). However, the the template is modified i.e the child issues are duplicated in the template.

Thank you for your response.

let me explain step by step.

1. Epic A is the template provided for our project (sample epic with child issues and sub tasks)
2. There are total 11 child issues in Epic A
3. Create Epic B using Epic A i.e clone Plus feature
4. Epic B is created successfully which has 11 child issues and sub tasks
5. It was observed that Epic A has duplicated/added with additional child issues while cloning Epic B
6. Now Epic A has 22 child issues(the epic has been modified while creating new epic)

"clone plus" is not a native function in Jira. You may have it in your instance because a third party app was added, or your Jira Administrators may have created a custom solution.

If you are not a Jira Administrator then please reach out to your Jira Administrators to find out how the functionality has been provided in your instance, and mention to them the problem you are encountering.

If you are a Jira Administrator, please tell us how that functionality has been added to your instance. If it came from a third party app, please tell us which one.
