I swear to you that i have at least 6 hours searching for this but ... damm... sometimes the easiest think become the worst!

Is it possible to settle approvals as the instructions below for vanila JIRA CORE CLOUD?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/setting-up-approvals-816880004.html

I tried everything that i saw on google, youtube and atlassian community but still checkbox "Add approval" won't show on status when editing the workflow.

I know that i can workaround it making approvals with condition on transitions but this way can give me more options. Can someone help me?

Sorry my bad english and thank you in advance.

Approvals are a function of Service Desk, not Core.  So no, you can't do it on Core.

The closest you can get is to build your approvals as explicit workflow steps - have "waiting to approve" and "ready for development" joined with an "approve" transition that has a "condition" of "only people in the approval role/group" on it.

Thank you for your answer Nic.

This is exactly how i'm doing till now but the workflow turns very long since it goes through a lot of gates. It won't be a problem if Core edition allows to edit boards but it seems to be other limitation. With more than 8 status on the workflow the board start to be impossible to read since it redistribute the area for how many status you have. More then half of the columns are empty since they are approval gates only (don't spend more then minutes on that status). Sad.

Too many invisible walls on a top notch app. Wasn't expecting that from Atlassian.
