So I'm interested in containerizing Jira and Confluence.
I've found some guides and think I shouldn't run into too much trouble getting these spun up, with the exception of attachments files for both systems.
I can have the containers map to a remote database just fine, but they both default to local attachments storage, and Atlassian has indicated that storage of attachments in the database is deprecated.
Do we go for some kind of network storage for the attachment data then?
Hi @Andy Sauer,
I think the best approach for containerizing Jira and Confluence is to put their home-directory on a separated network storage and then mount it into the container.
So your configuration will probably include your container, a home-network-share and your database.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Louis
