We use the =JIRA command to get tasks from JIRA Cloud. It's worked perfectly in the past with complex filters (like date, task type), but now we got a parse error on execute a very simple filter, like screenshot below.
Hi Glaydson,
The Jira Cloud for Sheets add-on does have this function, but it has to be enabled within the settings of that add-on in Sheets. You can do this within Sheets by going to Extensions > Jira Cloud for Sheets > Open. From the menu that appears on the right, click the Settings link.
Here you can enable that =JIRA() function within Sheets.
Hi,
The function was enabled. Now it's working again, but we've another error:

Hi Glaydson,
There is another report of Jira for Sheets not being able to load data. It appears that many users have had to re-authorize that app in order to reestablish the connection recently. There are steps you can follow over in https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Re-Jira-Clouds-for-Sheets-not-working-December-2021/qaq-p/1876197/comment-id/510344#M510344 that should help.
If you are still seeing problems with this after trying that, let me know so we can try to investigate further.

Hi Andy, I've tried it, but I can't run the JIRA formula or run 'GET ISSUES NOW' from the GUI.
From the GUI I can use basic Import type, but this import type can't allow me to get custom columns :/

Hi Glaydson,
Thanks for that screenshot. I have tried to recreate this problem, but so far I have been unable to. I thought that perhaps the problem might be caused by Portuguese characters, but that does not seem to be the issue here.
I spoke with a colleague and he suggested that you copy that JQL formula, and then create a new sheet, and paste that formula into the A1 cell of that new sheet. Try this and see if that helps. It appears that others have reported a similar problem in regards to the way that Google Sheets is parsing that formula, and that creating a new sheet can frequently work past this problem.
Let me know if that works.
Andy
