I'm learning to use the Jira Cloud App for MS Teams. Why can't we fully integrate the kanban project into Teams, rather than only the issues?
Another question, I have added the Jira Cloud into a specific channel, but there is that project field in that app UI that lists all of my other projects, which is a real bummer. Can we get rid of that field?
Or can we simply link the project to that channel, instead of a search filter?
Thanks!
Hi @Dany Connolly ,
thank you for your question. As far as I know, Jira Cloud for Microsoft Teams can't embed the Kanban board view in a MS Teams tab.
Buuut, well I work for a company that is developing an app that is able to do so. The app is called Microsoft 365 for Jira. It is available at the Atlassian Marketplace, free to try and free for up to 10 users.
You can integrate Microsoft Teams, but also Outlook emails, meetings, calendar, and Microsoft To Do. Let me know if you need help setting up the app or directly book a dremo right here.
Happy Friday!

Hello, Good day. You can create a filter for a specific project and then use the filter on the Teams channel. we will not be able to disable the project field.
