Jira Cloud for Excel no longer working in Office 2016?

We've recently noticed in our organization that the Jira Cloud Excel Add-In gets stuck when loading with the famous spinning wheel. Our Office 2016 volume license installations are impacted (32 and 64bit, Standard and ProPlus). Tried clearing the office cache at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\wef, but still not working.

We have a few Office 2024 LTSC installations, and there it's working fine

@James_K In addition, let me note that Better Excel Exporter is compatible with all Excel version released since its early Server versions released in 2014. It will just  work with Excel 2016 out of the box.
