Good morning,
Typically when setting up Kanban boards, I have had request types for filter creation.
I currently need to setup a Kanban board in a shared project and wanted to know what is best practice. User will use "Create" to submit Issues and manage them within Kanban board.
I was thinking about setting up an Issue Type, because as mentioned above I generally have at least a Request Type to pull information from.
Please provide any suggestions.
Thank you
Hi Lapacquah,
Can you give an exact example for what you are trying to accomplish?
@John Funk I need to create a filter for a Kanban board. Typically I have used request types, however this time there is no request type.
Its a shared Project so there is another Kanban board setup and it is pulling in information from that filter.
I also wanted to know what is best practice, should I setup a software project for each customer, etc. if using Kanban/Scrum boards.
Thank you

It if it is not a Jira Service Management project, then the Request Types will not be available. You should use the issue type field.
Typically, we create a project per team working together. But creating by customer can also be done.
