Jira - Check if the sub-tasks "DONE" can be counted in the Summary
The summary tab only counts DONE when all the sub-tasks in a parent action has been completed. The management team gets a wrong understanding from this and thinks actions are not being addressed and the project progress is poor.
Is there a way to get the Sub-tasks status counted into the tab Summary?
Can you clarify which Summary tab you're referring to?
A screenshot would be beneficial here :)

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for responding. I have attached a couple of screen shots. The first one shows a summary tab, showing only one action in "Done" status. But, there were a few actions completed as sub-tasks (see the list view in 2nd image). Is there a way to get the Sub-tasks status counted into the tab Summary?

Is this still happening?
If yes, is this a Team-managed or Company-managed Project?
I tested this and sub-tasks were included in my Summary.

Hi Steve,
The issue still exists. It is a Team Managed project.
Do you have a solution what I could try please?
Thanks
Danish

Are you available for a Video Call so I can explain the issue? May I have your email address so I can send an MS Teams invite. Thanks

Steve,
Problem description is:
The number of "Done" in the summary tab does not match the number of "Done" in the List tab.
Therefore, the pie chart in the summary tab does not represent the actual status. There are more actions completed than it shows in the status overview (i.e. in the summary tab).
