I understand that you're using a Jira Cloud free site here, but have some concerns over users being able to use a gmail domain in their login when registering.  I am not sure I understand the concern here.  Is it your expectation that all users that create accounts on your site will be restricted to have a difference specific domain for their email address in order to be able to sign up?

By default our Atlassian Cloud sites do not restrict the domains that users come from.  Depending on how users are added to your Cloud site will determine how much control you exert over the domains they use. In this case, I would recommend checking out our documentation on Site access settings improvements. It explains how you can restrict user site access to only be permitted to specific domain names if you wish.
