JIRA resolution / Sub-resolution

I am looking for a way to add sub-resolutions to my JIRA resolutions. For example the

• main resolution = False Positive
• Sub resolutions = 
  • From external source
  • From internal source
  • Based on review in open source tool
  • Based on review in internal tool

Please let me know if this is possible in JIRA.

Hi @John Crimarco

Jira has no concept of sub resolutions but you can set up your own select list custom field with the options you want. This field can also be added to the Resolution workflow screen or anywhere else you need it.
