JIRA mailbox handler is not able to access the mailbox.

Hello: I am getting this error message and none of the mails from the Outlook mailbox is getting imported into JIRA. Can you please assist

Thank you Andrew.  I removed all the error messages in mail box which are from JIRA mail handler and later it started working. I suspect that, this mail handler was pulling so many  error messages which were generated due to some other issue. ( a day before there was a password expiry issue)...

 

but anyway.. this issue has been resolved. now... :-). thank you for sharing the insight

That particular error message is pretty clearly stating that this particular mail handler cannot process this message because another Jira mail handler has already processed this message.  

I suspect that you have another mail handler in a Jira site that is connected to this same mailbox.   It could be you already have another mail handler in this same Jira site, or possibly another Jira site that is connected to this same inbox.  Check your other mail handlers to see what else is trying to use this mailbox.

If you can't find it, then as a last resort you could change the login credentials for this mailbox and update your Jira in order to get this to work that way.  Just understand that there is likely another mail handler out there that will break as a result of this.
