Hi All
we are using jira 4.3.4 version. And LDAP aunthentication configuration we had done. The username and password given for authentication has changed password. So JIRA has been locked. None of our team members are able to login now. Can anyone help to restore admin password, or in which file admin password is store ?
We are using external database SQL server management studio 2008R.
Thanks in advance :)
Hi @Archana ,
Do you mean, you have change the user directory password ? If yes, you can change the user directory password in the database directly and restart.
Thank you for the reply. I have changed password. But still not able to login. Can we get admin password somehow ??

Have you restarted the server after changing.
What you mean by admin password. User in jira-administrator group? As you mentioned , you are using LDAP authentication. In such case, how can we change the password in jira. Password will be associated with your ldap account.

if it is not changed there should be an JiraAdmin account that is not connected to Active Directory.
maybe this account is available is a config file connected to the Jira environment
