Our marketing team has been setting up JIRA, and we are trying figure out how to manage team reviewing process.

From out of the box, JIRA is designed to have only one reviewer per stories/sub-tasks.

In our case, we have a reviewing-culture where it involves more than one reviewers in order to QA a product from multiple perspectives.

In an ideal world, like Bitbucket, we would like to assign multiple reviewers for sub-tasks, and allow multiple reviewers to approve the work.

Is there an ideal solution to setup JIRA to meet our needs?

Dear @Michael Go,

the wish for having multiple assignee on one issue is very old. Best you have a look JRASERVER-1397. This would be the base of having a team review with built-in functionality. But Atlassian is currently not planing to implement it. If you search through the suggestions, you will find even newer ones addressing the same - vote for them.

So you have two alternatives:

  1. Custom Field (User Picker, Multiple Users). With introducing this field, that you can name "Reviewers", a list of people can be 'kind of assigned' to one issue. But there will be no functionality available like you have it with the assignee field (reports, etc).
  2. The Portfolio plugin could add team functionality to your Jira. Have a look, if this will help in your situation.

So long
