JIRA Suite Utilities free version

We are planning to upgrade our JIRA from 7.2.7 > 7.9.2 and we just want to know if we can still use jira suite utilities free version, we dont want to pay for this plugin 

any suggestions ?

The JSU add-on could be free till jira v7.3.6.

Now they have made it paid.

You can use the free version in the evaluation period but once evaluation period ends (generally 3 months) then you have to buy the plugin or it will be disabled automatically. It's a paid plugin thus you can't keep use it for free after a certain amount of time.
