The message "An unknown error occurred while trying to perform a search." popped up when sorted by date although a ticket can still be created.
My Standalone Server JIRA software Version is 8.4.0.
Done with reindexing, the issue still remained.
Is upgrading to the latest version (8.8.0) will resolve the issue?

There may be others with the same problem and/or resolved it that may give flavor but we are not going to analyze your log for you...
