JIRA Server Microsoft Teams Integration Without Third Party Tool

Hi Team,

I did some research and found that we need third party tool (Non MS and ATLSAN) to connect Microsoft and JIRA which we don't want.

We are heavy users of MS Teams and JIRA.

Are Pluggins from MS and ATLSAN are customization?, i.e we need to develop dashboard and other features within Microsoft. is this possible?.

Have you tried to install the Jira Server for Teams App on your MS Teams and the Microsoft Teams for Jira App on your Jira instance?

Those are the official free Apps provided and maintained by Atlassian.

So, after installing these Apps (Both side), can I code as per My Need (for Microsoft Teams). Because our internal JIRA users have so many requirements, so I need to code as per their requirement.

I don't think you can customize the our-of-the-box integration.
You may want to develop your own MS Teams App and connect it to the Jira API.
