JIRA Salesforce Integration

We are looking for a functionality where user types ticket number in Salesforce UI and matching JIRA tickets are returned as a search result. 

Can you please suggest if there is any free app for above required or if anybody has implemented similar requirement using JIRA API?

There are several apps for Salesforce, you could do your own research.

Note that if you check the "free for 10 users" checkbox, then only one matching app remains and it doesn't seem to do that thing. Therefore, you should check the paid ones, too.

But, what is even more important, if you want to search on the Salesforce side, then I think the solution won't be a Jira app, but a Salesforce plugin, app, extension (which I don't know much about).

Same is the case with Salesforce. None of the app is actually Free. All apps having required functionality are paid ones.

Hence, looking for JIRA API help.
