JIRA Mail Handler setup issue on Orchestrate Jira cloud site.
We need assistance and guidance with the mail handler setup.
Request:
Jami (jami.mcgraw@arrow.com) is trying to configure a Jira mail handler with the following goal:
*Salesforce (SFDC) sends an automated email
That email should be received by Jira and automatically create a ticket with the email details
He is able to create the mail handler within Jira, but encounters admin permission issues when attempting to connect the Outlook mailbox to Jira.
Getting this page
permissions such as:
Read and write access to user mail
Sign in and read user profile
Maintain access to granted data required.
Please suggest work around solution.
The permission topics relate to the mail box permissions, so get in touch with you mail admin (It department).
To get the correct permissions on the mailbox.
This is not related to Jira, but to Microsoft and the mailbox.
