JIRA KANBAN with multiple swimlanes based on JQL

Hello Community,

I am trying to setup a kanban board with 4 swimlanes, sorted based on a jql lisitng jiras per fixVersion:

   - fixVersion 1

   - fixVersion 2

   - fixVersion 3

   - fixVersion 4

   - Everything else (I cannot get rid of this!!)

For reason I do not understand, the board displays only two swinlanes, fixVersion 3 and everything else. Issues in the other three JQLs are not in displayed in the board.

Please support me to understand and be able to list all 4 (or 5) swimlanes. Thank you.

Hi @Ram Varman 

You will need to have work items that fall in the kanban boards filter to be set with a fix version with the name Cluster 1, 2, or 4

IF there are no work items set with one of those options in the fix version field, then the swim lande is no shown, swim lanes with no work items are hidden by default

Every thing else is an ootb default option, tha can;' be removed, this swim lanes lists all work items that don't fall in to the JQL set per swim lane, but the work item is in a status that is represented on the board.

Alright! I understand, I assumed that the board will list zero jiras for Cluster 3. That is not the case.

Hi Nikola, 

The follwoing are the 4 jqls I use:

   - fixVersion 1: project = test AND fixVersion in ("Cluster 1")

   - fixVersion 2: project = test AND fixVersion in ("Cluster 2")

   - fixVersion 3: project = test AND fixVersion in ("Cluster 3")

   - fixVersion 4: project = test AND fixVersion in ("Cluster 4")

I have these four listed under board config -> Swimlanes -> base swinlanes on queries.

P.S: I do not have admin rights to the test project.
