Hey,
Have any one have sample code or idea to store data for the forge app.
for ex.
scenario 1:
if I want to store designation for all the users or any predefined value by specific users.
scenario 2:
if I want to keep store user worklog hours in pre-defined format and display as timesheet in forge app rather than searching every time by using 2-3 API call. Because currently their is not such a API that returns directly work log summary directly by filtering date, project, etc.
Thanks
Hello @Ritesh Khatri ,
By storing data, do you mean if Forge has any database capabilities, if so, you may want to refer to this page: https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/storage/

Thanks for the reply. Yes I'm expecting similar like forge or jira cloud have any database which stores any structured or unstructured data if possible.
It's good have any sample code to do the same as explain 2 senrio.

Hi @Ritesh Khatri , no worries. The architecture of Atlassian Cloud could be found here: https://www.atlassian.com/trust/reliability/cloud-architecture-and-operational-practices#tenant-provsioning-and-lifecycle
Now, since it is being hosted by AWS, I believe that the storage is S3 buckets.
Also, Jira doesn't have a database funcitonality.
Confluence however is offering databases feature: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/databases
