JIRA Email Integration

We would like to do email integration with JIRA. For below this, we are following below article, but our email service provider does not allow us to use POP/IMAP for external use, or over the cloud. Please suggest alternate way for this integration.

There is no way to do this, Jira only reads POP or IMAP (or their secure version)

Best you can do without changing to an email provider who does POP or IMAP is to set up a mail server that support a secured standard email (I'd recommend IMAPS), and have your email provider automatically forward the incoming email.
